Recently, China Railway Signal & Communication Co., Ltd. (CRSC, 03969.HK) announced that the total value of its external contracts signed in 2019 Q1 reached 7.48 billion yuan, up by 16.1% quarter-on-quarter, with rapid growth in newly-signed contract value of railway, urban transit and overseas businesses.
In 2019 Q1, the total value of CRSC's external contracts of railway business was 3.978 billion yuan, up by 22.5% quarter-on-quarter. The figure of urban transit business was 1.857 billion yuan, up by 14.4%. The figure of overseas business was 130 million yuan, up by 282.4%. The figure of general contracting and other business areas was 1.515 billion yuan.
In railway business, CRSC signed contracts for E&M system integration of Anqing-Jiujiang High Speed Railway, Chaoyang-Linghai Dedicated Passenger Line, Xintang-Baiyun Airport-Guangzhou North Intercity Railway, etc. In urban transit business, it won bids for signaling system integration of Kunming Metro Line 5, Nantong Metro Line 1 (phase I), etc..
