On 19th March, a consortium joined by CRSC secured a contract for E&M system integration and auxiliary works of Chaoyang-Linhai South Liaison Line Project (ChaoLing Liaison Line). CRSC will conduct system integration of signaling, communication, information and other systems (including equipment procurement, construction & installation and system commissioning), and support integrated testing & commissioning and trial operation.

The 105.64 km ChaoLing Liaison Line extends between Chaoyang City and Jinzhou City of Liaoning Province. It starts from Chaoyang Station of the Qinhuangdao-Shenyang High Speed Railway (HSR), and ends at Linghai South Station of the Beijing-Shenyang Dedicated Passenger Line (DPL).
The railway has a design speed of 350km/h, and will use the CTCS-3 train control system for HSRs. With a construction period of 821 days, the project will be completed by 30th June 2021.
Once completed, the ChaoLing Liaison Line will improve the HSR network in Liaoning Province, connecting Dalian with such large and medium-sized cities as Beijing, Chifeng, Tongliao and Chengde via the Harbin-Dalian, Panjin-Yingkou, Chaoyang-Linghai, Beijing-Shenyang HSRs.
